This six-month mentorship offers a steady, unhurried arc for anyone wishing to cultivate a movement practice rooted in relationship with the land where they live — whether in a lush, natural setting or a highly urban environment. You’ll be invited to choose a piece of land that you can access on a regular basis — a marsh, a beach, city woods, a park, or corner of a shared garden. Even if you have limited access to green spaces, you’re welcome to join: we’ll explore creative ways to bring the mentorship into your context.
We meet online every two weeks, and the work unfolds as much on your chosen ground as it does on screen.
This mentorship is an apprenticeship in listening, where you gradually allow yourself to be shaped by the spot of land you move in and let the boundary between mover and landscape soften. You will explore, document, map, and move with your chosen spot across the six months. The mentorship is co-held and co-created with the group. You support each other in your practices. I offer frameworks, guidance, and practices in response to what you bring. The lands you choose and their different textures and flavours will be our teachers.
The 11th session culminates in a moment of crystallisation with your land-partner, co-shaped by the group under my guidance. The 12th session is dedicated to digestion, integration, and transition into the next phase of your practice.
What to expect
- 12 online sessions (2 hours each)
We begin by preparing the body for regular outdoor practice, and the themes evolve naturally from what emerges in your practice. Later in the programme, participants offer inquiries of their own that we explore collectively.
- Ongoing practice between sessions
Expect to spend at least one hour practising between sessions — indoors or outdoors — and to document your process through writing, drawing, sound, or video.
- A dedicated outdoor spot
You will choose one place to return to repeatedly, observing how your relationship with it changes through weather, time of day, mood, and season. You will learn to map that place with your movement to deepen your perception of it: noticing affordances, constraints, invitations, patterns, and resistances.
- Documentation
Create a record of your practice in whatever form feels most alive: stream-of-consciousness writing, sketches, small videos, voice notes, or maps of how your body met the ground.
- One free 1:1 session
You may book this at any point. Further sessions are available at £20 until the end of the mentorship.

Accessibility
If you have any access needs—physical, sensory, or otherwise—please check with me beforehand to see if we can accommodate them within the mentorship. The work is flexible, and practices can be adapted to suit different abilities, but it’s best to discuss your needs in advance so we can find practical solutions.
How to register
- Send me an email to express your interest.
- Fill in a short registration form outlining your intention, answering practical questions, and sharing your availability. This helps me set up an initial poll — these are not the final dates. You’ll have the chance to choose again once the poll is shared with everyone who has paid a deposit between 6 and 18 January.
- Pay a non-refundable deposit of £100 or the full amount before 6 January 2026.
Those who have confirmed their place by paying a deposit will then be invited to complete a poll to finalise session dates by 18 January 2026. After that, joining is still possible until the start date in February, provided you can attend all agreed online sessions.
If you’ve never worked with me before, please check with me first to see if this mentorship is suitable for you.
